the little musos' program is dedicated to the development of children ages 0-5 through music play. But this shouldn't be restricted to sessions in our studio. Here are some fun ways to engage your child through creativity and music.

 


Kids absolutely love finger puppets. All you have to do is print out the pattern, colour, cut out, and assemble. Your fingers are the legs (or trunk) of these simple paper puppets.

You can make the entire cast of 'town mouse country mouse' in just a few minutes, and then put on your own show.

A shaker is a hand-held instrument that adds the essence of percussion with just a little shake. Shakers are one of the easiest homemade musical instruments you can make. The materials are easy to come by and can be substituted out with many different things. You can use virtually any container as long as it has a lid.

A popular old-fashioned noise-making toy, the Chinese drum (rattle) is twisted in the hand so that the beads bounce of it and make a noise. With practise you can get a good rhythm going! Here's one the kids can make themselves.
